Schnipo Schranke was an indie pop band from Hamburg. It consisted of the two singers and instrumentalists Daniela Reis (* 1988) and Friederike "Fritzi" Ernst (* 1989). The band's genre was described by the magazine Intro as "hip-hop chanson fuck." Schnipo Schranke caused a stir in 2014/2015 with their song "Pisse," which was largely shared on social media and deals with unhappy love. In November 2019, Daniela Reis announced the dissolution of Schnipo Schranke in an interview with Musikexpress. She founded the follow-up project Ducks on Drugs with her husband Ente Schulz. Fritzi Ernst founded a solo project under her own name.
