Sinan-G (born September 1, 1987 in Essen, bourgeois Sinan Farhangmore), Sinan Germany (formerly Sinan Gold) is a German rapper. Sinan-G was introduced to elementary school age by his older brother Roozbeh Farhangmehr hip-hop. In April 2007, Sinan-G had to serve a three-year prison sentence in Siegburg Prison for forming a criminal organization and burglary. During his detention he was supported by parts of the German rap scene. Artists like Sentino or Manuellsen started "Free Sinan-G" outouts and myspace entries. Sinan-G's thriving MySpace appearance created media hype that made Sinan-G almost unknown as a rapper through television and press coverage of the Ruhr area.
