Sven Friedrich (born June 1, 1974 in East Berlin) is a German musician, singer and producer. He became known through his bands Dreadful Shadows, Zeraphine and Solar Fake. Friedrich, who comes from East Berlin, received music lessons from the age of 7 in classical guitar, piano and finally drums and jazz and pop singing at the Friedrichshain music school with Leonore Gendries and Catrin Daniel. From 1988, Friedrich played in various bands as a drummer, guitarist or keyboardist. From 1990, he sang in a band called "The Nuisance". Due to several line-up changes and confusion over the band name, which had already been used by a British punk band, the band changed its name to Dreadful Shadows in 1993. In 2001, Friedrich founded the band Zeraphine and finally in 2007 Solar Fake.
