Sarah Rau (known by her stage name Vita or Vitality) is a German rapper. Born in 1994 in Leipzig, Sarah Rau began her musical career in 2007–2008, having become fascinated with rap as a teenager. She gained widespread fame in Germany as a battle rapper, participating in the popular video tournament VBT (Video Battle Turnier) under the name Vitality. There, she established herself as one of the few successful women in this discipline. In the following years, she transitioned from battle rap to a solo career, releasing music under the short moniker Vita. Her style is characterized by technical flows and profound, often socio-critical lyrics.
