Vasily Fedorovich Becker (Wilhelm Friedrich Becker - German Wilhelm Fridrich Becker) (1859, Roida, Saxony -1926 (?)) - Russian military bandmaster, author of numerous waltzes and marches. Graduated from the Saxon-Weimar Conservatory. In January 1886 he entered a freelance bandmaster in one of the Cossack regiments. In July 1920, he was an instructor of the Military Music Courses in the Petrograd Military District. Was married. Children: 3 daughters, 2 sons - Norbert (1893), Walter (1895).
