Yeghshe Manukyan compositions sheet music and chords

The Armenian musician Yeghishe Manukyan (born in 1950 in Yerevan) is one of the leading duduk players of the 20th century (duduk or tsiranapokh is a reed woodwind musical instrument with a double reed). Even at the age of 9, Egishe practiced playing the shvi, the whistling "shepherd's" flute Tutak, whose sound resembles a piccolo flute, and due to the ability to produce very high notes, perfectly imitates the voices of various birds. At the age of 11, Manukyan continued his musical education, mastering the technique of playing the duduk, zurn and clarinet. He began his professional career at the age of 26, working since 1976 in the State Dance Ensemble of Armenia, an honored group founded in Yerevan in the autumn of 1958.
