Evgeny Gennadyevich Grigoriev (born October 14, 1966, Kurgan, better known under the pseudonym Zheka) is a Russian singer-songwriter, composer, musician and poet. Winner of the "Stars of Dorognoye Radio", "Chanson of the Year" and "Worthy Song" awards, as well as the "Piter FM" award. In the early 1990s, he tried his hand at business, at which time creativity completely faded into the background. He was one of the owners of a bar-restaurant. In 1995, Evgeny composed the song "A Glass of Vodka on the Table", which in 1999 was included in the repertoire of Grigory Leps. He opened his own music studio. However, the economic crisis of 1998 did not bypass Evgeny Grigoriev, and the business went into decline. In 1999, the recording studio became part of the Kurgan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. In February 2001, he moved from Kurgan to Moscow, deciding to pursue a professional music career, where a few months later he recorded his debut album, “Pines – Cedars.”
