Laskovyi Mai is a Soviet group founded in Orenburg, best known for Yuri Shatunov’s vocal and songs such as “White Roses,” “Gray Night,” and “Pink Evening.”

Its sound combines pop, synth-pop, and teen pop. The group became one of the most popular Soviet pop acts of the late 1980s and is closely linked with the end of the 1980s and early 1990s.

The debut release was connected with “White Roses,” and the 1989 album cycle includes “Pink Evening” and other hits.
