Aleksandr Vladelenovich Wainberg is a Russian statesman, politician, and senator of the Russian Federation representing the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Member of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building. He was born on February 2, 1961 in the village of Bolsheorlovskoye, Borsky District, Gorky Region. Candidate of Legal Sciences. Former musician of the Lyube group (1990–1994). After leaving Lyube, he was the leader of the Nashe Delo group. In 1997, he ended his musical career. In April 2025, Aleksandr Wainberg co-authored and performed the song "Minute of Silence" together with Nikolai Rastorguev and Shaman.
