Boris Mikhailovich Emelyanov (April 20, 1941, Khabarovsk Territory - July 27, 2021, Moscow) - Soviet and Russian composer, multiple laureate of the Song of the Year television festival. He showed his first experiences in composing melodies in his student years. In 1969, "The Song of Two Trumpeters" was written to the verses of Mark Sobol, in 1971 - "I Will Be Sad" and "Obelisk" to the verses of Vadim Shefner and Maya Rumyantseva, in 1972 - "The Song of Kuznetsk" to the verses of Pavel Maisky. The newspaper "Kuznetsky Rabochiy" published musical scores of Boris Yemelyanov's songs. In the mid-80s, the composer met the wonderful songwriter L. Derbenev. they collaborated for about 10 years.
