Christina Stürmer is an Austrian singer who works primarily in the pop rock genre. She was born on June 9, 1982 in Linz, Upper Austria. From the age of 13, Christina Stürmer played the saxophone in a children's big band, and also played the flute. Since 1998, she played in the group "Scotty", which performed mainly English-language songs. Then she participated in the a cappella group Sulumelina. In 2003, she took part in the casting show Starmania on the ORF channel, where she performed mainly American hits, and took second place.
