Klavdiya Ivanovna Shulzhenko was a USSR/Russia singer and actress. Her repertoire united wartime and lyrical songs, and the piano was often used in performances of her music.

Her style includes Soviet estrada, pop, front-line song, and romance. She is known for “Siniy Platochek,” “Davai zakurim,” “Gde zhe vy teper, druzya-odnopolchane?,” and “Posledniy boy.”

She became People’s Artist of the USSR in 1971. She won nationwide recognition through front-line songs, began a solo career in 1945, and gave many concerts during the Great Patriotic War.
