"Knyazz" (pronounced as "Prince") is a Russian rock band from Saint Petersburg, created in 2011 by Andrey Knyazev, who at the time of its creation was a member of the punk band "Korol i Shut". In the spring of the same year, Andrey Sergeevich refused to work in the theater on the rock opera "TODD" together with Mikhail Gorshenev and created a side project to realize his own creative potential. On December 16, 2011, Andrey Knyazev officially announced his departure from "Korol i Shut". In terms of the lyrical content of the songs, the style of the new group largely continued Knyazev's work in the previous group.
