Krug is a Soviet rock band from the 1980s. The line-up was formed in 1981 from former musicians of Stas Namin’s group “Flowers” - Igor Sarukhanov (guitar, vocals), Alexander Slizunov (keyboards), Vladimir Vasiliev (bass, vocals) and Mikhail Fainzilberg (drums). Since the end of December 1982 - the Krug group. Their very first song “Kara-kum” became the calling card of the group. in 1986, the Melodiya recording company released the “Circle of Friends” magnetic album on LP with recordings from 1983-85. The record sells a huge circulation of 3.5 million copies, but the composition of the group changes. As a result, the group broke up due to personal relationships within the group.
