Laura Gennadievna Kvint (born July 9, 1953, Leningrad) - Soviet and Russian composer, pianist, member of the Union of Composers of the Russian Federation, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation (2005), Honored Cultural Worker of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (2007). Professor and artistic director of special projects at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ISI). Laura Quint is the author of symphonic and instrumental music, chamber vocal cycles, pop songs. She wrote her first song at the age of seven. At the age of fourteen she wrote the song "Ave Maria", and it was with this song that her professional composer's experience began.
