Nika (real name Irina Nikolaevna Malgina; born June 8, 1951, Simferopol) is a popular Soviet and Russian pop singer, Honored Artist of Russia (1995). The peak of popularity came in the 1990s. Famous compositions: “How many years, how many winters”, “Three chrysanthemums”, “Sex bomb”, “Brown eyes”, “It's not my secret”, “Paper flowers”, “Give me a kiss”. In 1977, as part of the VIA "Music", he took part in the production of the rock opera "Scarlet Sails" by Andrei Bogoslovsky, performing the part of Assol. In the early 1980s, Irina Malgina performed a duet with singer Emin Babaev. In 1989, the singer's husband, Vladimir Malgin, decides on his wife's solo career and becomes her producer.
