Paveier

Paveier piano sheet music
The Paveier are a dialect and carnival band from Cologne. Her best-known titles include Buenos Dias Mathias, Ich han de Musik bestellen and Leev Marie. The formation emerged in 1983 from the relatively unsuccessful country band Colonia Rangers and subsequently concentrated on pure Cologne music with a new name. Their main lyricist and composer was Hans Knipp, who helped them get their first two titles, Am Ruusemondach and Ich nemm d'r Dom met, to EMI Electrola. Soon after, they were produced by Gerig Music Publishers under the Papagayo label. The group then founded their own label, Pavement Records, which also includes other Cologne bands such as Die Räuber, Brings and Bläck Fööss.
