"Stalker" is a Soviet band founded in 1985 by Andrey Derzhavin and his fellow student Sergey Kostrov. The band played in the electro-pop style. The original lineup of the band included: Andrey Derzhavin - composer, keyboards, arrangement, vocals; Sergey Kostrov - lyricist and sound engineer; Alexander Chuvashev - drums, backing vocals; Vitaly Likhtenstein - keyboards, backing vocals. In 1986, "Stalker" released their first tape album "Stars". Between 1986 and 1989, two tape albums were released: "First-hand news" and "Life in an imaginary world". In 1990, Andrey Derzhavin and the band "Stalker" won the All-Union festival "Song-90" with the song "Don't cry, Alisa!"
