Surganova and Orchestra is a Russian rock band. Founded in 2003 as a result of combining the creative efforts of Svetlana Surganova (until 2002 she was a member of the Night Snipers group: violin, guitar, vocals) and the musical group Sever Kombo. The leader of the group Svetlana Surganova defines the genre in which the group works as "VIP-Punk-Decadence". The basis of the group's repertoire are songs written by Svetlana Surganova. A number of compositions based on verses by classical poets (I. Brodsky, N. Gumilyov, A. Akhmatova, M. Tsvetaeva, O. Mandelstam, F. G. Lorca, J. Beranger) and contemporary authors are also performed.
