"Teatr Teney" (Shadow Theatre) is a Russian progressive heavy metal band founded in 1986 in the Moscow region. Between 1986 and 2004, the band underwent numerous lineup changes and experimented with style, which ultimately found expression in their debut album, "Teatr Teney" (Shadow Theatre), released in 2004, which the band considers their founding year. Their second full-length album, "Beast," was released on CD-Maximum in July 2006. In anticipation of their third album, the musicians recorded the maxi-single "Tvoya Ten" (Your Shadow) in March 2007. In the summer of 2007, the band debuted at the Krylia (Wings) festival. Work on their third album, "Capoeira," was simultaneously underway. It was released in May 2008.
