“Vorovaiki” is a Russian women’s group working in the genre of Russian chanson (the creators define this genre as crony-pop). Created at the end of 1999 by producers Spartak (Stepan) Harutyunyan and Valery Lizner, later sold to Yuri Almazov (real name - Nadyktov). The composer, songwriter (together with Valery Lizner) and co-producer of the project was Spartak Harutyunyan, who left the project in 2004, then most of the songs for the group were written by Yuri Almazov. In 2019, after the death of its creator Yu. Almazov, the group came under full control to his son Nikita Nadyktov. The group is known for its “ratified” songs and the scandalous appearance of its soloists.
