"White Day" - Soviet and Russian musical group. The musical group "White Day" was organized in 1990 in the Soviet Union by graduates of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music. The artistic director of the group is Valery Semin. The first soloist was Lena Vasilyok (Semin's wife until 2012). In 1991 the group released their debut album "Russian Songs" consisting of Russian folk songs. Fame at home came to the group "White Day" in 1996, after she created her original instrumental program "Balalaika in Rock", in which the musicians of the ensemble performed cover versions of world famous hits on Russian musical instruments.
