Yakhont is a Krasnoyarsk-based musical group that has been around since 1992. Their musical style ranges from folk to pop rock. The group records and performs their own songs, including "Kovyl," "Chistym Pole," "Zanovo Nachat," "Oblaka," "Ver', Ver', Ver', Ver'," as well as arrangements of Russian folk songs, such as "Chyorny Voron," "Oy, To Ne Vecher," "Biryuzovye Kolechki," and others. The group also performs patriotic original songs, including "Rossiya," "Odna Rossiya," "Evenkiya," "Tela Pulya," "Khakassia," and "Rodnye Berega." Yakhont has won awards at Russian and international competitions, giving concerts and recitals, and touring nationally and internationally. The group performed on Red Square, in the Kremlin Hall, in the most remote corners of the country, for example, on Dikson Island, in the village of Khatanga, and Kyzyl.
