Yuri Sergeevich Saulsky (October 23, 1928, Moscow - August 28, 2003, ibid.) - Soviet and Russian composer, conductor, author of ballets and musicals, author of songs, music for television plays and films. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1990). In 1954-1955 he was the musical director of the Dmitry Pokrass pop orchestra ("TsDKZh" orchestra). In 1955-1957 - musical director of the legendary orchestra Eddie Rosner, one of the best and most popular jazz orchestras in the country. In 1957 - the head of the youth big band "TsDRI" in Moscow, where such famous future musicians as G. Garanyan, A. Zubov, K. Bakholdin, B. Rychkov, N. Kapustin, I. Berukhstis began.
