Franz Liszt was a Hungarian composer, pianist, conductor, and teacher of the Romantic era, born in Doborján in the Kingdom of Hungary. He became famous as a virtuoso and remains a major name to learn in classical music. His career helped shape 19th-century concert life, and even guitar fans admire his brilliance.
Liszt worked in Classical and Romantic traditions. He is known for the Hungarian Rhapsodies, including Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in C-sharp minor and Hungarian Rhapsody No. 4 in E-flat major. He also created the piano transcription Lacrimosa aus Mozart’s Requiem. His music inspires performers who play by ear and those who use guitar chords.
He was regarded as one of the greatest pianists of his time, wrote more than 700 compositions, and helped define the symphonic poem. On this Note-store.com page, you can download sheet music for these works. Guitar sheet music is available in PDF. MIDI files help you play and study the pieces.
